The Nutcracker is performed in theaters around the world as a beloved holiday tradition. Chavalos de Aquí y Allá driven by the opportunity to share with the widest possible audiences, both locally and internationally, latino and Nicaraguan art forms through dance, decided to become a part of Compañía Ballet de El Salvador 2019´s Season of the Nutcracker.

This season, the Company performed in central american countries such as El Salvador and Guatemala, visiting cities like San Salvador, Quezaltenango and Guatemala City, performing for more than 17,500 people.

Our support contributed bringing more performances to students and under privileged children, with free performances and community oriented workshops.

The Company, directed by renown teacher and former dancer Ms. Alcira Alonso, who pioneered the spreading of classical dance throughout the central american region, has formed an artistic team lead by Associate Director, Nicaraguan dancer Orlando López, who is also El Guegüense’s artistic director.
