Growing up in Nicaragua, Jennifer Conrad has always felt connected to people, family and culture. She moved to San Francisco to pursue the dream of buying a house for her mom in Nicaragua. This dream has not been completed due to Nicaragua’s social and political situation. In 2018, she joined Chavalos de Aquí y Allá board of directors to help Nicaragua and the local bay area community. She is happy to be part of an organization that provides resources for low-income families and brings together youth locally and in her home country. When she is not assisting Chavalos, she is trying to change careers and join the interior design industry, helping her husband’s business, and last but no least, taking care of her new family integrant, baby Alessandra.
