Parent and Dancer Liaison
Given the social political crisis in Nicaragua Joshua’s parents and siblings emigrated to the US while she at a very young age was left under her maternal grandmother’s care and aunts in Nicaragua. It was not until 2009 that she would finally come to the US and rejoin her family in the hopes of working for a better future. She is the mother of two lovely girls which are the motor that motivates her in every aspect of her life. She currently works in the finance industry where she has been for about a decade. She loves being part of the board of directors for Chavalos de Aqui y Alla because she can ensure her girls grow up knowing their roots and overall traditions and culture of Nicaragua.
